oxo's Wooden Lemon Reamer efficiently juices lemons, limes and other citrus fruits. The pointed tip and sharp edges make it easier to begin the juicing process and continue juicing with ease. Made of solid beech wood, the material does not react with acidic fruits, making the product more durable.
I am a relatively new cook (just two years of being really interested in cooking) and I always squeezed out my lemon and lime juice by hand. I never knew that there was a tool for getting the juice out. This wooden reamer works so much better than I ever thought it would, getting the most juice out at the quickest pace. Well worth it - another essential tool in my kitchen.
At last, a lemon squeezer that gets it all. The squared off edges bite into the pulp so well that there is very little juice left on the rind. The point bores through the end of the lemon rind, forcing it higher up the shaft so that it fills larger lemons thereby relieving you of the chore of gripping the rind ever tighter to ream out the last bit of juice. This is a big plus for those of us who have gotten older and lost some of our ability to grip as tight as we once could.
This is the best lemon juicer. Gets every last drop. Also, a good shape and size as it is comfortable to hold.
Love this little juicer. I ALMOST didn't order because of the listed product dimensions:
"Product Dimensions: 6.3 x 0.6 x 0.6" ... the 0.6" x 0.6" is INCORRECT. It is about 1.6" x 1.6" x length.

There's nothing better than the old school. What worked for my mother and grandmother works for me. That juicer is great. It does the job and, it's a snap to clean. I should have bought it years ago. Also the OXO name is a name you can trust for the best kitchen utensils.
I have several reamers, but for the price, you can't beat a plain wooden one. I started out with this model, and after using it several times a week, decided to purchase a nice metal one. I prefer my metal reamer, but this is really a great, inexpensive one too. Every kitchen should definitely have one!
I love this little juicer. Before I got this I would hand squeeze the juice from lemons and limes when needed in a recipe. I always felt guilty throwing away the lemon or lime knowing there was still a bit of juice left. However, with this wooden reamer you get every last drop of juice. This is a handy little item at a great price.

OXO Good Grips Wooden Reamer
A very nice hand reamer for my citrus, it's lightweight and sits comfortably in my hand as most OXO brand utensils do...My only recommendation is to rinse it off the moment you're done and let it dry completely before storing, since it's wooden...In future I think if it breaks (from wear and tear) or goes missing, although there's nothing wrong with this one, I'll buy OXO's aluminum reamer instead so I don't have to worry about the preservation of a wooden utensil.
Love this item. The sharp ridges really scrape every little drop of juice out of a lime. Since it is made from wood, it is not slippery on wet hands or wet citrus for that matter. Good grip. Small enough to store in a kitchen drawer. Money well spent.
