I don't know how I got along without this item for so long! This is so fun to use and extracts so much juice from the lemon, minus the seeds, that I'm thinking of things to put lemon juice in just so I can use it!


I use this as a lime squeezer...the lime-sized one is not quite big enough to fit a large lime. This works great. I bought a more expensive brand for my mom (OXO) and it doesn't work nearly as well.


I like this juicer so well, I just purchased several to give as gifts. It will also juice limes, but not oranges. Only negative thing is that the pulp sticks to the finish and has to be scrubbed off.


My new yellow, Amco lemon squeezer is by far the easiest and most efficient hand juicer I have ever tried. I looked at a few different brands and settled on the one that had the smallest holes at the bottom, to discourage rogue seeds from invading my juice. It works like a charm on both lemons and limes, and I'm sure I could use it for other small citrus fruits like tangerines or clementines if I got the urge. It is also super easy to use (cut your fruit in half, stick it in cut side down, and squeeze), and cleans up without much effort, either by hand or in the dishwasher. Had previously purchased the green/lime squeezer/juicer &
found it was a tad small for lemons so opted to get
the yellow/lemon one as well.
My son uses it all the time for his lemonade. It's
sturdy and very handy and easy to use - glad I got it!


I purchased this squeezer because it was highly recommended by Cook's Illustrated [which has reliable opinions]. I have found it to be everything they said and more. No matter how difficult the lemon, it extracts the most juice and leaves the pulp and seeds behind. I have arthritis in my hands but find this squeezer easy and comfortable to use. My juice extractor of choice was a reamer, but now I go for the Amco Squeezer instead. I also have the lime squeezer which is even more useful because limes are often dry and hard.


Got one a few weeks ago and it works great! Can't speak for longevity, but it feels sturdy and works well and we'd likely buy the same one if it wears out in a year or so.


I've had both the yellow lemon squeezer and the green lime squeezer for nearly a year -- and now both of them are loosing their enamel. We use them a lot -- and I expected more.

Also, they don't give up the natural oils of the rinds in the dishwasher, and end up having to be washed by hand periodically. The small bowl shape is a real mess to try and clean.


This baby squeezes with little effort. No more rolling the lemon and wearing out my hand trying to squeeze. No more seeds in my drinks! May be a little awkward for some to get your hands around the handles.


I've owned several of these enameled aluminum citrus squeezers made in Mexico or Venezuela. They do the job, but I disagree that they are "dishwasher safe." If you wash them in a dishwasher at high temperatures the enamel paint will inevitably peel. Aluminum doesn't rust, but it still oxidizes, and the aluminum surface will turn a dark gray and feel rough.
Furthermore, the pin that holds the two handles together will corrode, and inevitably break.
