This is the best piece of equipment I have in my kitchen and we have them all. It's light weight, durable, easy to use and easy to clean. Because it's so easy to use, it gets used often. We're also eating healthier because prep time for healthy meals has been drastically reduced. I was considering buying a second one in case something happens to the first.
It's great like most people mention here. I use it for finely mincing spinach leaves to toss into my soup, making salsa fresca, mixing dressing, making hummus, and chopping dreaded onions when I have to because they irritate my eyes something fierce. Once I also tried using it to blend ice for a smoothie, and the texture didn't come out too great. Also a warning, if you are chopping something hard like ice, be sure to HOLD TIGHT because you will make a mess if you don't because of the vibration. I wish the cup and motor part screwed together a little bit myself. Only other complaint is that the cord could definitely be a little longer for me.
This is my first food processor/chopper. I love it! So far I use it only to puree and grind but have no problems with it. It is easy to use and clean (I use a toothpick or q-tip for the tight spaces in the top). The hand grip is comfortable. No complaints!
I got really sick of crying whenever I chopped onions so I bought this little baby. And boy is it a life saver! I loveeee it =] The first time i used it was for chopping garlic. I wasn't sure if it'd do the job correctly but it surprised me so much!! Now I don't have to go out and buy a garlic press (since mine has began to rust). I'm thinking about gifting this beauty to all of my friends that cook. Loveeeee it =] Couldnt be happier.
Great little chopper, easier than dragging out a huge food processor for the smaller jobs. Works well, cleans up easily, good quality.
I thought I would like this when I ordered it, I was wrong, I love it! Since I purchased this months ago I have put away my manual pampered chef chopper. This is easy to clean and super easy to use. My husband likes finely chopped onions on his coneys and this one does a perfect job. I use it mainly for onions and bread crumbs, sometimes parsley and garlic. I am going to pick up another one when they come down again.
...so I am happy. It's compact and was affordable. She loves it and I love her, so I love it...
This is one of the things I got for my boyfriend for christmas. He tells me how much he loves it every time he uses it. It seems to be his favorite gift.
I was very pleased with this little chopper. Amazon did a great job delivering it promptly. Does everything it claims to do.
I have had other small choppers where the motor is on the bottom and after several years the plastic that holds the blade breaks. This one has the motor on top. It's great for all the chopping for small batches where you don't want to pull out the big food processor...Easy to clean too.
