I had that other juicer advertised on TV lot. I got it when it first came out and paid believe it or not, 299.oo! ouch...The Breville is wonderful, about 3 times more powerful than first one I had, easier to clean(dont need a wrench), has two speeds, slow for soft food, high for hard food..........I make about a gallon of juice in about 15 mins total including clean up time, store it in refrig, and drink for couple days........
I am learning veggie juicing may help fight off diseases too! Why ? Veggie juicing helps keep blood Ph 'alkaline' versus acid as with lots cokes, cheeses, processed foods. Parasites, fungus, molds in gut and on skin, thrive off of high acid blood..but die in more oxygen rich, alkaline blood. If your wondering where we get parasites molds fungus, its in foods from ground which harbor same and meats we eat(cattle eat grasses, dirt full of that stuff). We cant avoid 'acid' foods all together realistically ha, but we can reduce intake of cokes, coffees, processed junk and juicing helps with returning to 'wellness' and increased energy for me.

This is the best juicer I have ever owned. I can put whole fruit (unpeeled) and get the juice (absolutely no pulp). I do recommend peeling oranges (or other citrus fruits) for sweeter juice. My husband and I are on diets and this juicer has helped us by curbing appetites before night time meals, and right after exercise. I will definitely recommend this product.

I am a delighted customer and a repeat Breville juice extractor purchaser. In 2004, I purchased my first Breville Juice Extractor. This year I upgraded to the gorgeous stainless-steel Juice Fountain Elite. These Breville products are extremely well made, tough, easy to clean, and work exactly as advertised. My old juicer was given to a friend and still works perfectly. These products are well made and LAST.
I use my Juice Fountain Elite on an almost-daily basis, and on some days, I use my juicer multiple (3-4) times. It performs flawlessly and I believe that it is worth every penny.
The Juice Fountain Elite is much quieter than the previous Breville model I owned. The motor is very powerful, and it produces a high volume of juice compared to the other brands of juice extractors that I have owned in the past.
If you are new to juicing you MUST BUY this juicer to avoid disappointment and frustration that comes with using other, less well made juicers, that are hard to clean. I have been an avid juicer since 2003 and in the first year I was juicing, I burned out the motor on TWO Juiceman Junior juicers and used to get mad at how much work they were to clean.
In 2004 I spent the extra money on the Breville after doing some research and I have to say, I will never purchase another brand of juice extractor. This product has it all.
Don't waste your money on other products, buy the Breville Juice Fountain and you can't go wrong.
Wow! This is truly the greatest juicer I've ever owned and well worth the money. I've juiced everything. Even beets (which make a great base for juices) It runs rather quiet for a juicer and the clean up is really simple. It appears to be really tough and durable. It's all stainless steel except the pitcher and the holder for the particles. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in a juicer.
This juicer is the BOMB!!! well made, powerful and I love it Fresh beets,ginger and your favorite apple make a great drink to start your day!!
Buy one you won't be disappointed.

First off, I'm ecstatic that the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt "juice extractor" was one of the first juicers that came up when I searched for "powerful juicer, easy to clean". I read the reviews, looked at other juicers, but what really sold me was the video on Breville's website that showed this amazingly easy to clean 4 piece (3 if you insert a baggie into the pulp bin and then throw it out!) assembly. There are no parts to unscrew, you just pop in each part on top of the other making sure it's in place snugly. After juicing, you just rinse, brush the mesh-net with the included brush, and ta-da you're done. A lot of people have claimed pulp flies out of and around the bin, which is NOT TRUE because the top piece is designed to lock into the pulp bin, eliminating any air in between them. You just slide it under and lock into place, and nothing gets out. To get on with it...I have juiced beets (cut in half, because even though I'm sure this juicer can handle it, I want to be on the safe side) potatoes, and even kale (wrap it around a hard fruit like an apple) In other words, anything and everything goes. It makes lots and lots of tasty juice and is easy to operate. Even my boyfriend took up the juicer-cleaning role when we're done, it is that gratifying after you've had an amazing class of your own concoction. We have never had so many liquid veggies and we're lovin' it. Ginger, sunchokes, rutabaga..I am the first to admit I would not eat these unless they're in juice form. We got the juicer via 2-day shipping and it's been the best decision we've made. The money is well worth it (At William-Sonoma this juicer goes for $350+tax, and on the Breville website $299+tax+shipping) and we got it for $254 TOTAL on Amazon. So, in conclusion, this juicer is nice stainless-steel, fits on the counter and does NOT take up too much room, it is actually nicely designed to be somewhat compact. We've had it for about 2 weeks now and everything's fine.
My suggestion: Go for it! All other household juicers are just plain inferior.
This is my first juicer purchase. I had owned a juicer years ago and remember I gave it up because it was difficult to clean and didn't work 'strong' enough to hold up with dense vegetables. I had this machine a few days now and I know this will be with me for quite some time. It is heavy duty, crafted of stainless steel which has been easy to clean. The motor is much quieter than I had expected from a juicer with a more powerful motor. Clean up is quick and easy, especially if you rinse as soon as you are done and use a bag for the pulp. And the juice is delicious!
Excellent product. It performs just as indicated in the instructions. Saw this on Martha Stewart show and this was her choice of juicers and mine. I have had others, but this is the best.
I'll never be able to drink bottled juice again. This powerful juicer wrings every drop of moisture from whatever you drop in. Carrots, oranges, apples, garlic, onion...whatever. Clean up is a breeze, especially if you line the pulp bin with the vegetable bags from the grocery store. If your in the market and you can afford it, this is the one you want. Worth the money.
