I bought the Breville 800 JEXL after owning a Jack La Lanne juicer. I thought buying a more powerful juicer would speed up the juicing process. I don't like this juicer and will be returning it. For the price difference I do not like the performance of the Breville 800 JEXL. It barely handles leafy greens and it spits out small chunks of the produce. Even when I used the suggestion to put in harder produce after the greens, it still did not juice much of the greens. It did a horrible job of juicing beans and cabbage, two things the Jack La Lanne easily handled. When the Breville 800 JEXL spits it makes a banging noise, like a small gun shotas the small chunks hit the cover of the pulp collector cover. I tried slowing the way I push the produce into the juicer and tried using the slower speed even for the harder produce, to reduce the wasteful produce chunks. But the chunks continue. Also, some of the produce pulp comes out wetter than the Jack La Lanne unit I previously had. I don't think the Breville's performance is worth the extra expense. I think I'll go back to another Jack La Lanne since this Breville has not enhanced my juicing experience.
