Are you looking for something that says exactly what it does? I searched high and low for a portable, manual, handheld nut grinder that does exactly what it was supposed to do. And it is clear, that this nut grinder does the job.

I was tired of using other tools that couldn't cut it. The electric ones are overkill and I don't care for battery-operated ones because I always run out of batteries. I used an extra coffee grinder to grind nuts, but it was so susceptible to human error. A little ways in either direction ruined the meat. If you were a little heavy-handed, you could overwork the grinding mechanism and you ended up with nut butter goo. If you were too light, it would take too much time because you would keep opening up the grinder to check the consistency and it would take too long. I would end up getting so frustrated that I wasn't feeling up to doing it anymore.

But with this tool, it's perfect! I am nuts about this! You put one hand on the base, your other hand on the the handle that glides like a dream and go to town. Just crank it to completion. It makes you feel like you've been doing this forever and you can't screw it up. The consistency is always perfect---- no overworking or underworking. It is consistent with excellent, expected results everytime.

I am super satisfied with this nut grinder and recommend it to all my girlfriends who are SERIOUSLY into nuts. I'm a nut fiend! I have used this with Mexican Pinon Nuts, English Walnuts, Black Walnuts, Hawaiian Macadamias, and more!

This is not recommended for people who have an aversion to nuts or the people who aren't sure they like nuts or people who only like them from time to time. I do not think it is a good investment for those people. Also, for those who either only mildly like nuts or play with the idea of eating them can have severe reactions if they accidentally play with a nut grinder only to have them realize they're allergic. Let me tell you, allergic reactions to nuts can be disastrous scarring people emotionally for life. You don't want to see a mildly nut-resistant person go into anaphalactic shock as they will turn into anti-nut nazis.

Anyhow, all in all this is a good investment for people who like nuts.




This small inexpensive kitchen tool has proven to be my most indispensable product in my kitchen.


My friend gave me one of these for my birthday, then I turned around and ordered two of them for my children. It is great if you need a cup of two or nuts choppped quickly. It will cut fine or medium and does well on both settings.

Toastmaster 1109 Citrus Juicer

The juicer appears to have a weak motor. Putting even small pressure on th squizzed orange procudes loud, nasty voice and the motor stops. It occurs in both directions but more in counter clockwise direction. I have to squizz the oranges very gingerly and it takes a long time. Best feature - it's very easy to clean


I am very happy with my citrus juicer. It works well and is very easy to clean. I have a more expensive juicer for carrots and celery and other types of vegatable juices, but I find this juicer far superior when one wants to juice citrus. This juicer is an excellent value.


I've been using mine consistently for the past 2 years. I love it so much, that I bought one for my brother as a gift, because he was looking for a small citrus juicer. They clean up easily and has a strong enough motor to juice any and all citrus. The price on Amazon is better than what I'd paid in the store for mine.


I purchased this because the Proctor Silex one I wanted was not available from Amazon directly. I sometimes have a hard time getting the juice pitcher off of the motor mount, it actually got stuck once and I spilled half of my juice getting it off! It actually juices well, and the pulp catcher does it's job if you remove excess pulp as you go. (otherwise it builds up and blocks the juice from going through) I was disappointed in the cover, which just sort of sits on top of the pitcher as opposed to snapping on or fastening in some way. It slid off repeatedly until it eventually fell on the floor and broke. Other than that the motor itself is strong and gets all the juice out effectively. In retrospect I wish I had purchased the other one.


As long as the price stays cheap then it's worth it! (under $12-$13) Great little first-time juicer...my kids love juicing their own oranges. Don't be in a hurry for the juice as it juices rather slowly and all juice will be very pulpy whether you have the little plastic "catcher" set to catch pulp or not plus doesn't do the greatest job getting all the juice out. Pulp builds up fast and top 3 parts have to be constantly dumped and rinsed off..pitcher part constantly slips out of "lock" position and the whole thing flies apart when handling it but not when juicing. Has a convenient wind-in cord holder underneath. The annoyances are minor (sound worse than they actually are as it's very simple to use and easy to clean) considering you are paying so little for this cute little thing. Worth the money for the occasional, not-so-serious juicer.

I've been wanting a juicer for a long time, but didn't want something huge in my kitchen. This juicer is perfect, starting with the price. It's smaller than all the other ones I have seen, easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to clean and to juice. All I do is cut everything is small pieces and the machine does all the work. It's amazing. It juices everything fast and the pulp comes out fairly dry. I disagree with the review that says the pulp has a lot of juice. Cleaning is easy. I just use warm water, don't even scrub (except the blade, which needs to be cleaned with a brush, but with running water, it takes me less than a minute to clean it).
I have been drinking fruit and vegetable juices 2 or 3 times a day. I mix all kinds of stuff and the machine juices it all. Yesterday I made spinach-carrot-apple-grape-cucumber juice and it tasted SO good! And I don't even add water, just put some ice and it's delicious and super nutritious.
Don't fool yourself with the price. This juicer doesn't take too much room, works great AND it's cheap! Let it guide you to a healthier life! You won't regret buying it.


I love the idea of juicing veggies and I've had bigger units before, with paper filters and all. This little one was intriguing, and fairly priced. Pretty quick juice, yes. But the remaining pulp still contained much juice (not getting the most out of it), and the pulp sorta gets slung over an incline. Rather a mess to clean AND I couldn't get it cleaned to my satisfaction either. I does work, and quickly, and the price is right. Nice small footprint too, compared to my old monster. But I returned it, and am still looking.


I got this one when Amazon was selling for $11.95
The problem with my juicer is that it leaks a lot on the space between the juicer and the juice container. Also, you still can extract a lot of juice from the left over pulp. (I tried with oranges only)


I bought one for my daughter and one for myself. We both love fresh carrot juice with ginger and beets. It works great and the cleanup is easy.


I've just finished drinking my first glass of carrot juice made with this juicer. I couldn't be more satisfied.

First of all it's very easy to assemble, disassemble and wash. I've had two other "under $50" juicers and have had trouble getting the stainless steel baskets in and out and remembering what order to assemble it - with this one it was a breeze.

Carrots are one of the harder textured food to juice. This machine was so quick and powerful I couldn't believe it, it took seconds!!!! I can't attest to whether it will continue to work, but for function and ease of use you can't beat it. It also does a good job of extracting all the juice out - the pulp was very dry.

Would recommend it if it were five times the price - I've never seen a juicer so inexpensive. This is the machine to buy if you've considered juicing, but were hesitant to invest the money. Also, makes a great additional juicer.
