Proctor Silex Juicit Juicer

I got this juicer from a local store, I made the big mistake of throwing the receipt before making sure it works fine..

It did work for one week only, then the motor seemed jammed every time we push the top, now it takes more work to get this damn motor to rotate than to actually make the juice!!!

I understand it is extremely cheap, but I thought it will last at least 6 months.. this one is going to the garbage!! I will look for decent companies from now on, lesson well learned.

This elegant, brushed stainless steel Citrus Juicer squeezes fresh juice quickly, cleanly, and easily! An auto-reversing reamer squeezes more juice from the smallest lime or the largest grapefruit, and a unique Fast-Spin feature extracts more juice from pulp. It includes dishwasher-safe parts for easy cleanups.

What I like is that the juicer arrived nicely packaged so you'd never know it was reconditioned. It also looks very nice sitting on the counter. If you like fresh pulpy juice, this is a good deal.

However, the spout is too close to the machine body, therefore if the machine moves during use, you end up with juice on the counter instead of in the glass. The shape of the sieve makes it a little difficult to clean.

The main thing to be aware of is: if you don't like pulp in your juice, do not buy this machine.

Does not work well, really laud. It squeezes the juice, but you have to keep emptying it after every half. Don't waste you money.


My girlfriend had one, and after visiting her recently, I had to come home and order it. It is small, compact, and is great for one or two glasses in the morning. The only caveat is that you sometimes have to hold it in place when operating, as it will slide a bit. Other than that, it is great.


the mess that you have to clean up afterwards is not worth it;
Too many parts to wash.

Annoying is the fact that you need a particular-sized glass, and you have to keep emptying it.
The one-size-fits-all rotating thing is not ideal size for oranges.

Better to get a manual unit that squeezes more juice, doesn't require electricity, requires minimal clean-up.

Who needs another electrical gadget on their kitchen counter??

If you really want an electric device that squeezes citrus juice sitting on your counter, this is the one to get, 'cause it looks cool.

I tried everything to get these to stick to something in my fridge, and they never lasted. I think over time, the cool air did something to the seal. Sad to say I had to return them, even though I think these are a great idea. I wish I had tried the magnetic ones, but they won't work on leftovers in tupperware.
